Section 3 - Performance assessments
Use scheduled opportunities for performance measurement and offer clear assessments of the employee’s strengths and growth. Discuss areas that could be improved upon, with reasonable suggestions as to how and when those improvements could be achieved.

Provide constructive feedback
Feedback provides an opportunity for learning. Employees need to know if they are making progress toward company goals. Motivation increases when employees have the opportunity to work on challenging goals and receive feedback on their progress.
