New non-degree programs

A non-degree program is any initiative, including certificates, short courses, workshops and other programs of study, that comprises non-degree credit courses.

All new certificates and other non-degree programs must be put forward by the Faculty Council of the sponsoring unit, in accordance with prescribed procedures and documentation requirements. All certificates and other non-degree programs will be subject to periodic review as determined by the Continuing Education Committee.

For the policy and procedures associated with new non-degree programs, please see the Quality Assurance Handbook.
