Project life cycle

Project initiation and review

  • Submit your request to the Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability (OCIS).
  • We review the request within the context of the university's strategic priorities and vision.

 Project approval and charter development

  • Approved projects are sent to the OCIS project team.
  • The team meets with the requestor to discuss details.
  • A collaborative project charter is developed that outlines the specific requirements. This signed agreement initiates the project.

Project management and completion

  • We keep the faculty or department informed of the project's progress. 
  • Upon completion, the OCIS project team requests a final walk-through with the faculty or department to review and sign off on the project.
