Curriculum submission deadlines

To be listed in the 2025-2026 academic calendars, proposals must be approved by the dates listed in the tabs below.

Major Program Modification Deadline - December 23

Major Program Modification proposals must be approved at the Faculty Council step in the curriculum management system by Monday, December 23, 2024.

Timeline for Undergraduate Changes

  • December 23, 2024: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • January 21, 2025: Proposals presented to Undergraduate Studies Committee (USC) for approval.
  • February 25, 2025: Proposals presented to Academic Council for approval.

Proposals not passed at the January USC meeting may return for the February 18 or March 18 meetings. However, please note that to be included in the 2025-2026 academic calendars, Major Program Modifications must receive final approvals at Academic Council by Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Timeline for Graduate Changes

  • December 23, 2024: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • January 28, 2025: Proposals presented to Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) for approval.
  • February 25, 2025: Proposals presented to Academic Council for approval.
Proposals not passed at the January GSC meeting may return for the February 25 or March 25 meetings. However, please note that to be included in the 2025-2026 academic calendars, Major Program Modifications must receive final approvals at Academic Council by Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Minor Program Adjustment Deadline - January 31

Minor Program Adjustment proposals must be approved at the Faculty Council step in the curriculum management system by Friday, January 31, 2025.

Timeline for Undergraduate Changes

  • January 31, 2025: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • February 18, 2025: Proposals presented to Undergraduate Studies Committee (USC) for approval.
  • March 25, 2025: Proposals presented to Academic Council for information.

Timeline for Graduate Changes

  • January 31, 2025: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • February 25, 2025: Proposals presented to Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) for approval.
  • March 25, 2025: Proposals presented to Academic Council for information.

Minor Curricular Change proposals must be approved at the Faculty Council step in the curriculum management system by Friday, January 31, 2025.
