Curriculum submission deadlines

To be listed in the 2026-2027 academic calendars, proposals must be approved by the dates listed in the tabs below.

Major Program Modification Deadline - December 23

Major Program Modification proposals must be approved at the Faculty Council step in the curriculum management system by Wednesday, December 23, 2026.

Timeline for Undergraduate Changes

  • December 23, 2026: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • January 19, 2027: Proposals presented to Undergraduate Studies Committee (USC) for approval.
  • March 23, 2027: Proposals presented to Academic Council for approval.

Proposals not passed at the January USC meeting may return for the February 16 meeting. However, please note that to be included in the 2027-2028 academic calendars, Major Program Modifications must receive final approvals at Academic Council by Tuesday, March 23, 2027.

Timeline for Graduate Changes

  • December 23, 2026: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • January 26, 2027: Proposals presented to Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) for approval.
  • March 23, 2027: Proposals presented to Academic Council for approval.
Proposals not passed at the January GSC meeting may return for the February 23 meeting. However, please note that to be included in the 2027-2028 academic calendars, Major Program Modifications must receive final approvals at Academic Council by Tuesday, March 23, 2027.

Minor Program Adjustment Deadline - January 31

Minor Program Adjustment proposals must be approved at the Faculty Council step in the curriculum management system by Sunday, January 31, 2027.

Timeline for Undergraduate Changes

  • January 31, 2027: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • February 16, 2027: Proposals presented to Undergraduate Studies Committee (USC) for approval.
  • March 23, 2027: Proposals presented to Academic Council for information.

Timeline for Graduate Changes

  • January 31, 2027: Proposals must be approved at Faculty Council by this date.
  • February 23, 2027: Proposals presented to Graduate Studies Committee (GSC) for approval.
  • March 23, 2027: Proposals presented to Academic Council for information.
