Bird Collision Monitoring Program

A community science initiative where volunteers worked together to monitor bird-window collisions across campus during migration season. The data collected helps improve building design and campus practices to better protect migrating birds and local wildlife.

Pollinator Month

An awareness and action-based initiative encouraging the campus community to support pollinators through planting native species, learning about biodiversity, and adopting pollinator-friendly habits. This program highlighted the shared responsibility of protecting ecosystems that sustain local food systems and wildlife.

Invasive Species Cleanup

A hands-on community effort to remove invasive plants such as buckthorn, burdock, and dog-strangling vine. By restoring space for native species to thrive, volunteers helped strengthen local biodiversity and protect the health of surrounding ecosystems.
